Sunny Greetings from Veligandu Island Resort & Spa!

We started 2019 feeling refreshed and excited. We have focused on delivering more sophisticated and customised services that meet our guests’ needs and preferences. We received good news that helped us to stay positive and inspired during such a busy time of the year, and I am eager to share them with you. Based on reviews and opinions from millions of travellers who shared their experiences on TripAdvisor, Veligandu Island Resort & Spa was ranked in the following categories in the 2019 Travellers’ Choice Awards:

Such a great start to 2019, as this is the highest honour TripAdvisor can give, and it is my greatest pleasure to share it with you today. I want to take this opportunity to express gratitude to all our guests who have shared their feedback on TripAdvisor, thus contributing to our success. I would also like to appreciate our team who does a fantastic job delivering authentic and heart-warming hospitality.

As aforementioned, this is the busiest time of the year. We are welcoming many guests from all around the world: those new to Veligandu and loyal repeat guests. To create unforgettable experiences, we have scheduled some exciting activities and events for February. To mark Sri Lankan National Day, our talented culinary team is going to surprise you with traditional Sri Lankan delights on February 4, 2019. Chinese New Year celebration will be filled with time-honoured and innovative dishes plus delightful surprises from our chefs. We are introducing an Asian themed buffet dinner from February 10, 2019. Every Sunday our guests have a chance to explore the different flavours of Asia - fresh, aromatic and wonderfully diverse. Romantic experiences are prepared to make Valentine’s Day on February 14, 2019, more special. We truly hope our efforts will turn into a positive and extraordinary experience for all our guests.
