In front of Dhonveli Restaurant and Thundi Bar, the best time to snorkel is typically between 8:00am to 11:00am. During these calm morning hours, guests may encounter manta rays, dolphins, turtles, sting rays, and eagle rays gliding gracefully through the reef channels and lagoon.
The house reef in front of the Water Sports Centre and Sunset Ocean Villas is best explored between 8:00am to 1:00pm, when conditions are often ideal. This area offers a higher chance of spotting manta rays, dolphins, turtles, sting rays, and, on rare occasions, whale sharks passing through the deeper blue.
Meanwhile, the reef in front of the Ocean Pool Villas also offers excellent snorkelling conditions from 8:00am to 1:00pm, where guests may encounter manta rays, dolphins, sting rays, and on fortunate occasions whale sharks moving through the open ocean. Every snorkelling experience here feels like stepping into a living ocean documentary.
